Nagarikta Adhikar
नागरिकता अधिकार
Advocating for the citizenship and rehabilitation rights of Pakistani minority refugees in India. We fight against inflated passport fees, demand reduction in the 7-year waiting period, and campaign to delegate citizenship-granting powers to local District Magistrates. Since 2005, we have helped over 13,000 refugees secure Indian citizenship.

Dhaat Healthcare Initiative
धात स्वास्थ्य
Protecting the health and well-being of approximately 4,000 Pakistani Hindu Refugees in and around Jodhpur (70% non-citizen, 30% citizen). Focused on women, children and the elderly, Dhaat helps absorb refugees into the local healthcare system and ensures access to essential medical services.

बाल संरक्षण
Ensuring every child in UJAS communities is in school, not working. Enrolment grew from 114 to 140 students with 90%+ attendance. Our school support programme targets children from low-income and migrant families across the border districts of Rajasthan.

Mahila Samata
महिला समता
Organises women into collectives, runs land rights campaigns, fights domestic violence through community support networks. UJAS runs handicraft and embroidery centres (funded by District Industrial Center, Rajasthan) giving Pakistani women migrants sustainable economic independence.

Public hearings (Jan Sunwaai) bring together workers, officials, media, and civil society to hold government accountable. Survivors speak directly to collectors and SDMs. These forums have secured policy commitments and individual reliefs for hundreds of families.

उत्थान
Vocational and livelihood training programme for Pakistani women migrants. Linked to UJAS Handicraft and Embroidery Centres — funded by District Industrial Center, Rajasthan State Government — Utthan gives women skills in block printing, Bandhani, Gota Patti embroidery and small enterprise management.

Advocating that those least responsible for climate change — border-district farmers, rural women and refugee communities — should not bear the highest cost. Campaigns for drought compensation, water rights, and climate adaptation funding from state and central government.
